Business transformation through the diversification of the aluminium joinery product range, including the introduction of the innovative AluPet Smart product
The project is being implemented by SUBOPOL Sp. z o.o. with financial support from the European Union under the European Funds for Silesia 2021–2027 programme – Just Transition Fund.
Project Objective
The objective of the project is to diversify the operations of SUBOPOL Sp. z o.o. by expanding into aluminium joinery solutions for retail customers, while optimising the production process and supporting sustainable development through increased energy efficiency and more efficient use of materials. The project will enable the company to diversify its operations by implementing a modern Industry 4.0-based production line and launching an innovative product developed by the company – AluPet Smart aluminium doors – as well as aluminium joinery equipped with QR codes, enabling smart customer service solutions for retail customers.
Scope of the Project
As part of the project, a new production facility will be established, comprising a production hall and an office and staff building with a dedicated area for presenting the company’s new product range. The facility will be equipped with a modern machining and cutting centre, enabling the automation and integration of aluminium profile cutting and machining processes. The investment also includes the installation of a photovoltaic system, which will generate electricity for the facility’s own operational needs.
Target Groups
The primary beneficiaries of the project will be retail customers interested in modern aluminium joinery, including solutions incorporating automation and smart technologies.
The new product range will be offered both on the Polish domestic market and across European Union markets.
Project Outcomes
The implementation of the project will enable SUBOPOL to introduce new products to its portfolio, including the innovative AluPet Smart solution, enter the retail customer market, and reduce the company’s dependence on the mining sector.
